The Mastic Beach Hebrew Center Religious School provides a strong Hebrew education in a personalized environment.

Half of the two-hour Saturday morning class in Hebrew language and prayers is accomplished by having students study according to their individual ability level.  There are resource teachers to help students maximize their learning.

Culture, which consists of bible, history, holidays, traditions and customs is done according to the students age. The student can then be amongst children of their own age making it an enjoyable learning experience. We have recently added two new areas of study to the curriculum: the use of computer software as a learning tool and a special needs class allowing all children to learn about their Jewish heritage.

In addition, we have just launched a twice monthly pre-Aleph class on Saturday mornings for younger children who want to learn about Jewish customs and holidays in a fun learning environment, but who are not yet ready to learn the Hebrew language.
